Train the Trainer Courses

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training supersedes any traditional train the trainer course because it allows you to teach any subject area that you have experience in. This is more useful than a traditional train the trainer qualification, which typically limits you to teach just one subject area.

The Level 3 AET can be completed in the Classroom, webinar or via distance learning. The three day classroom and webinar options suit learners who prefer having a teacher to talk them through the qualification. Whereas the distance learning option is suited to those learners who are happy working with electronic resources whilst receiving full support.

The course has three units, each with a written assignment attached to them. Learners are provided with assignment templates with a dedicated YouTube channel to provide support. Each learner also has an email mentor who will mark their work within five working days.

The practical unit is a 15 minute micro teach lesson on any subject of choice. This could be work related, a hobby, or interests. Learners can expect to deliver their own lesson and provide feedback to others, with the session being supervised by a highly experienced teacher.

Once you have the above there are many career opportunities that will be opened up. You may decide to become a freelance trainer and work for different companies. This type of work is flexible, whereby you can set your own working hours. 

Alternatively you may decide to work as a full time trainer at a private academy or college. They may support you in gaining higher teaching qualifications, which could lead to full teacher status and further opportunities.
