The course

Has life become too stressful in the salon? Could you now be looking for a career change?

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training (PTLLS) course is designed by it’s conclusion to allow the successful candidate to teach beauty therapy unsupervised. This means you can run your own classes and issue candidates with certificates.

This is a suitable course if your passion is geared towards helping others become beauty therapists themselves. Awarding bodies such as BABTAC will require you to have this qualification when signing up with them.

The course requires 3 classroom days of attendance at one of our seven locations. The practical element is completed by delivering your very own micro lesson on day three of the course. You will also support the other members of the group through their own lesson and receive invaluable feedback from your teacher.

Three essays are then written based on the taught lectures & discussions on the course. These will be typically finished at home / work. Templates are issued to help make these easier and Train Aid will mark a draft copy of each of your essays.

Once all the essays have been submitted you will be awarded with a nationally recognised teaching qualification. This can be used as part of an application to academies / colleges or for your own self run courses.
