Candidates will get an insight into what causes injury and how injuries can be prevented. Real life video examples are used alongside discussions about people's own experiences of manual handling within the workplace. The practical element of this course centres around correct lifting techniques and the reasons behind them.

All candidates receive a certificate of competence within the field valid for a period of three years.
