What's involved?

Once the training has been scheduled an expert first aider will arrive at your premises to deliver the training. Each candidate receives a textbook, work pack and individual support throughout the course.

The most popular format to complete the course is over two classroom days plus an additional e-learning module. The module takes six hours, is user friendly and allows the candidate to take breaks and come back to their work. It can be completed on a computer, tablet or smartphone.

The traditional three day classroom format is also available when e-learning is not preferable. Both options fully meet the requirements of the HSE and lead to the exact same certificate.

What you get out of it

Candidates on successful completion of the course are awarded the nationally recognised Level 3 First Aid at Work certificate. These are delivered electronically to the bookers inbox and are valid for a three year period.

The qualification can be used on construction sites, schools and for event cover such as festivals. The certificate is also valid for anyone wanting to become a first aid instructor.

Who's it for?

It is recommended that low risk businesses who are responsible for over 100 people should have at least one person certified in first aid at work.

Within high risk industries all first aiders should complete this course. This includes people working within:

  • Construction
  • Hospitality including events
  • Factories
  • Warehouses where machinery is used
