Online Paediatric First Aid

The online paediatric first aid course is designed for both refreshers and those who are new to the subject of first aid. The aim of the course is to gain knowledge on the key emergency lifesaving skills for both the infant and child.

By its conclusion you should feel more confident to deal with a real life emergency whether it be at home or at work.

Paediatric First Aid (12 Hour)

This course covers everything you need to know on helping a sick, injured or ill child, prior to the arrival of the emergency services. It combines one practical day with an online module which can be completed in your own time at home.

The Paediatric First Aid (12 hr) award meets the requirements of Ofsted and is therefore suitable for teachers to complete their registrations. It follows the latest guidelines from the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to give people peace of mind when looking after young children.

In House Paediatric First Aid (12 Hour)

The Level 3 Paediatric First Aid (12 hour) course can be completed in house at your own venue, and at a time to suit your business needs. This includes weekdays, evenings and on weekends. Group training can work out more cost effective, leading to an informative and enjoyable course for your staff members.

Paediatric First Aid (6 Hour)

The qualification covers the practical skills that are required to save the life of child or infant during an emergency. This is suitable for Nannies, Au Pairs, babysitters and parents who mainly need to learn about the practical elements of first aid.

The course follows the syllabus of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and meets the requirements of Ofsted for the Voluntary register.

In House Paediatric First Aid (6 Hour)

Expect to learn how to preserve life, prevent conditions from worsening and how to promote a recovery. This is achieved through demonstrations, practicals and real life videos. Candidates learn about the following topics and much more:

  • How to check for signs of breathing
  • Assessment of injuries
  • Recovery position
  • Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Choking
  • Major Bleeding & shock management 
  • Seizures
  • Minor injuries & burns
