About this course

Level 1 Food Safety is suitable for anyone involved in the handling of food as part of their business / organization.

Candidates can expect to learn about safe food handling practices within a kitchen and the surrounding areas. This includes the following topics and many more:

  • Bacteria and other microorganisms
  • Personal hygiene
  • Keeping work areas clean
  • Keeping food safe

Why this course?

Upon completion candidates are emailed an electronic certificate which demonstrates competency in the field of food safety and is valid for three years.

Upon enrollment candidates are emailed a link to start the course, which consist of four, interactive modules. These include short lectures, videos, questions and puzzles. The course concludes with a 10 question multiple choice assessment.
