What are PTLLS Courses?

PTLLS training is all about preparing you to be a teacher. The world of Adult teaching has many theoretical, moral and ethical issues that need to be addressed before you enter the classroom. This course sets out to address these issues, which in turn prepares you for the world of teaching. Alongside this the course sets out to show you how to prepare, teach, and self-assess real life lessons. Candidates get the opportunity to deliver their own lesson to the group, and then provide feedback to each other.

Not to be confused with a qualification that enables you to teach children, PTLLS Training is all about the world of adult education. PTTLLS training is so valuable that it is often recommended that qualified school teachers undertake the training it if they want to work with adults.

The PTLLS Level 3 Course can be split in two sections. Part 1 is the theory that is taught over the 4 days. A series of mini essay questions are set based on the theory and discussions that take place. Don’t worry as you will have plenty of time to finish your essays and will have full support from your instructor.

Part 2 is a 15 minute micro lesson that you will deliver to the rest of your group. This is great real life training and candidates often enjoy the variety of subject areas that they present to one and other. Your instructor will moderate your lesson, and make sure you are confident before the course is finished.
