Train Aid was set up in 2009 with the idea to “train people in the way that we like to be trained ourselves” The company recognised that there was a lot of over priced and boring training courses out there that were not delivering on their objectives. Since its formation the company have delivered thousands of affordable and enjoyable training courses that teach relevant skills for the workforce.

Emergency First Aid at Work

The HSE approved Emergency First Aid at Work Course can prepare anyone for an emergency within the workplace. This one day course teaches candidates how to deal with a casualty that is non-breathing, unconscious, ill or injured prior to the arrival of the emergency services.

Candidates by the end of the emergency first aid course will walk away with certification that is recognised by the government, and most importantly possess the confidence to help co-workers & members of the public in an emergency. The skills that candidates learn can be applied anywhere in life.

First Aid At Work

Our First Aid at Work Courses meets HSE guidelines and comprehensively covers all emergency and non-emergency situations within the workplace. This in-depth, wide ranging course enables candidates to gain a thorough understanding of the many different first aid situations that they may encounter within the workplace.

Paediatric First Aid 12 Hr

Our Paediatric First Aid Courses meet Oftsed requirements, and are designed for people whose profession involves the care of children, such as playgroup personnel, nannies and childminders. Paediatric First Aid training enables individuals to gain nationally recognised certification, but they also teach invaluable life skills that can be used to save the lives of infants and children.

PTLLS Courses London, Manchester, Birmingham & Bristol

Train Aid’s PTLLS training will cover everything you need to know on how to become a qualified teacher. The friendly instructors on the course are all qualified teachers themselves, with many years’ experience teaching both adults and children. Whilst on the course you will have the opportunity to tap into their knowledge, and they will look to share their experience to help you gain a teacher / instructor position.

Train Aid’s open courses which are held in four locations across the UK provide a perfect platform for anyone wishing to start a new career. PTLLS can turn you into a qualified teacher in just 4 days. The only pre requisite is that you have prior experience in the subject that you would like to teach. Bored of your current job and would like a new challenge? Then use the training to kick start a new career.

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is slowly replacing the Petals program; however your PTLLS certificate has exactly the same value. These courses also follow the same format with just a few slight changes for the benefit of all learners.
